Shift:

• Monday - Thursday: 7:00 AM - 4:30 PM
• Friday: 7:00 AM - 11:00 AM
• Enjoy every Friday afternoon off!

About the Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Press Brake Operator to join a growing manufacturing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong press brake setup and operation experience who takes pride in producing high-quality metal components. You'll work in a clean, organized shop with a supportive, family-oriented culture that values independence, craftsmanship, and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate press brake equipment to fabricate precision metal components
• Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders to ensure accurate production
• Select and install the proper punches, dies, and tooling based on material specifications and bend requirements
• Perform machine setups, adjustments, and changeovers as needed
• Conduct first-piece inspections and in-process quality checks to maintain product standards
• Use precision measuring instruments to verify dimensions and tolerances
• Troubleshoot equipment, tooling, and production issues to maximize efficiency and minimize downtime
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area

Preferred Qualifications

• 4+ years of press brake setup and operation experience
• Strong understanding of manual press brake machinery and tooling
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and manufacturing drawings
• Experience selecting appropriate dies and tooling for various materials and applications
• Proficiency with calipers, micrometers, tape measures, and other precision measuring tools
• Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot setup and production issues
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality and accuracy

Job Type & Location: This is a Permanent position based out of Webster, NY.

Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $28.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
