Make a remarkable difference in the lives of students by providing speech-language pathology services at an elementary school, working with students from PreK through 4th grade. This contract opportunity offers the chance to support young learners and collaborate closely with educators and families. The assignment covers a 12-week maternity leave, and accommodations are available for full-time or part-time schedules.

You’ll play a vital role in assessing and supporting around 50 students, providing targeted interventions to promote communication and academic success. Onsite collaboration with a welcoming team ensures a supportive experience for both seasoned practitioners and those early in their career.

Qualifications:

• Active SLP state license and educator certification required (SLP-CCC or Clinical Fellow accepted)
• SLPAs must be registered with ABESPA
• Previous school-based experience strongly preferred, though all qualified applicants will be considered
• Comfortable working with students in PreK-4th grade
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to adapt interventions to meet diverse student needs

Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and deliver therapy to meet IEP goals
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Maintain accurate documentation and monitor student progress
• Participate in IEP meetings and communicate recommendations effectively
• Utilize creativity and flexibility to address individual student needs
