A rewarding opportunity is available for an onsite Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) skilled in supporting students from PreK to 4th grade. Set in a collaborative school setting near Springville, AL, this contract position spans approximately 12 weeks—perfect for professionals looking to make a meaningful difference by covering a maternity leave. The need is full-time, but part-time applicants are also welcomed. With a caseload of about 50 students, you’ll provide vital speech and language services, helping young learners thrive.

Desired Qualifications:

• Current state SLP license and Educator Certificate if applying as an SLP
• SLPAs must be registered with the Alabama Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology (ABESPA)
• Clinical Fellows (CFs) and SLPAs encouraged to apply
• Demonstrated experience working in educational settings preferred
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to adapt and collaborate within a multidisciplinary team

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver speech and language therapy to a diverse student population (PreK-4th grade)
• Assess, develop, and implement individualized treatment plans in accordance with IEP goals
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and other school staff to support student progress
• Maintain accurate documentation of evaluations, sessions, and progress
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to educational planning as needed
