Registered Nurse - Intensive Care Unit (ICU)

Location: Chattanooga, TN

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM, Self-scheduling with manager oversight including 3-4 weekend shifts per schedule.

Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our ICU team. You will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, managing critical patients, and utilizing advanced medical equipment. Candidates should demonstrate strong teamwork skills and possess a passion for patient care.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and monitor patients using ventilators, IV pumps, and GE monitors.
• Administer medications and perform IV drip titration.
• Conduct arterial line management and assist in procedures like intubation and central line insertions.
• Participate in bedside shift reports and maintain compliance with patient experience protocols.
• Required to float to Med-Surg or ED as needed to meet critical staffing needs.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 2 years of ICU experience.
• Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS.
• Experience with ventilators, IV drip titration, and arterial line management.
• Ability to provide support for New Grad RNs.
