Lab Assistant
$17.75 - $22 per hourLabCorp
Labcorp seeks a lab assistant for specimen processing and preparation in Dublin, Ohio. The role involves receiving, sorting, and preparing clinical specimens for testing while maintaining laboratory equipment and ensuring compliance with safety standards. Position operates Thursday-Saturday, 11:30 PM to 8:00 AM with rotating holidays.
Responsibilities
- Receive, sort, and prepare clinical specimens for testing and analysis
- Scan and enter specimen and patient information into system
- Monitor equipment functionality and perform routine maintenance
- Troubleshoot specimen-related issues and maintain test bench supplies
- Maintain clean, safe work environment and complete administrative logs
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Comfortable handling biological specimens with accurate identification skills
- Basic computer knowledge and data entry proficiency
- Ability to pass standardized color blindness test
- Competent multitasking in fast-paced production environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
Compensation: $17.75 - $22.00 + shift differential
