Packaging Lead

We pride ourselves in making great quality beer and being a great place to work. Job Description Switchback Brewing Co. is looking for an individual who can help assist the packaging manager. The work schedule will be Monday – Friday 8 hour days. Shift start time is between 6AM and 10AM on a weekly rotating schedule. Role responsibilities Visually inspect the product during operation, observe equipment and process for proper operation, seek maintenance and Manager assistance for problems and recommend improvements. Assist with the set up and running of Production equipment. Prepare and clean equipment as required and keep work area in a clean and orderly condition. Able to troubleshoot equipment as needed. Ensure all products are properly labeled and stored. Document Quality Assurance data and record final run numbers. Perform training and retraining of personnel in the manufacturing operation as necessary. Coordinates and oversees the work of other Operators and acts as a back up to the Packaging Manager as necessary. Provides input into events or investigations including identifying potential root causes and corrective and preventative actions. Assist with creating Standard Operating Procedures. Collaborate with Manager, QA and Packaging Operators on unscripted manufacturing events to ensure impact on quality is evaluated and minimized. Collaborate with Manager to appropriately staff lines or shift personnel where necessary to meet schedule. Perform other duties as assigned. And many more benefits! Requirements Minimum 5 years experience in a packaging environment. Knowledge of beverage manufacturing is preferred, but not required. Ability to write legibly. Able to lift 55lbs occasionally. Able to stand for long periods of time. Willing to wear personal protective equipment. Must be 21 years of age or older. #J-18808-Ljbffr
