Are you ready to make an impact?Presales Solution ArchitectTechnology & Experience PracticeOverviewWest Monroe is seeking a Presales Senior Solution Architect to support large-scale, enterprise technology transformation projects delivered in partnership with leading system integrators (SIs).This role operates at the intersection of solution architecture, sales, and enterprise transformation strategy, helping clients define and shape complex initiatives across cloud, enterprise applications, data, and integration platforms.Role SummaryAs a Presales Solution Architect, you will play a critical role in shaping and closing complex technology deals, working alongside client stakeholders, internal teams, and SI partners to design scalable, secure, and commercially viable solutions.You will lead end-to-end solution definition, contribute to estimation and pricing, and define delivery models and SOW scope for large, multi-year transformation programs. Following deal close, you will remain engaged in a governance and advisory capacity to ensure alignment between solution design and delivery execution.Key ResponsibilitiesPartner with sales and client teams to shape and scope large enterprise transformation opportunitiesCollaborate with system integrators to define solution architecture, delivery approach, and execution strategyLead development of solution estimates, pricing inputs, and Statements of Work (SOWs)Assess current-state environments across applications, cloud, data, and integration to identify risks and opportunitiesDefine target-state architectures aligned to business and technology objectivesEstablish architectural guardrails and delivery standards for SI-led implementationsSupport proposal development, including solution narratives, technical design, and risk identificationAct as a trusted technical advisor to client stakeholders throughout the sales cycleProvide architecture governance and oversight during early delivery phasesEngage with onshore, nearshore, and offshore teams to validate solution feasibility and delivery modelsRequired ExperienceExperience in a solution architecture or presales architecture role supporting enterprise technology programsProven experience shaping and closing complex deals in partnership with system integratorsExperience working with off shore partners and teamsHands-on experience developing estimates, delivery models, and SOWs for large-scale initiativesStrong architecture experience across multiple domains:Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)Enterprise applications (ERP, CRM, or similar)Integration and API architecturesData platforms and analytics ecosystemsExperience working with or alongside large SI partners (Accenture, Deloitte, Capgemini, Cognizant, etc.)Experience in distributed delivery environments, including offshore and nearshore teamsAbility to evaluate tradeoffs across cost, risk, scalability, and speedConsulting or technology services backgroundPreferred QualificationsExperience with:ERP or enterprise platform transformationsCloud migrations or modernization initiativesM&A integrations or carveoutsSaaS or digital platform architecturesExperience with AI/ML or data-driven solution designExperience contributing to go-to-market or solution offeringsSkills & CapabilitiesStrong ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutionsExcellent communication skills with the ability to engage executives and technical teamsAbility to operate in fast-paced, ambiguous sales environmentsStrong collaboration across sales, delivery, and partner teamsCommercial acumen, including understanding of pricing, margins, and delivery riskAdditional InformationTravel as needed to support client engagements and pursuitsHybrid work model with time in a West Monroe office when not travelingBased on pay transparency guidelines, the salary range for this role can vary based on your proximity to one of our West Monroe offices (see table below). Individual salaries are determined by evaluating a variety of factors including geography, experience, skills, education, and internal equity.Employees (and their families) are covered by medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance.
