CASHIER/FOOD SERVICE WORKER (FULL TIME AND PART TIME)

Job Summary We are hiring immediately for full‑time and part‑time Cashier/ Food Service Worker positions at Royal ISD in Pattison, TX. The role involves operating a POS system, assisting with food preparation, maintaining cleanliness, inventory, and providing service to students and staff. Location & Schedule Location: Royal ISD – 2520 Durkin Road, Pattison, TX 77423. Schedule: Monday through Friday; day shifts. Full‑time and part‑time schedules. Pay & Referral Bonus Fixed pay: $11.00 per hour. Internal Employee Referral Bonus is available. Qualifications Prior cashier experience is required. Food service experience is preferred. Responsibilities Helps prepare foods such as meats, vegetables, baked goods and desserts. Performs cashier duties using the POS system. Performs general cleaning duties; removes trash and garbage to designated areas. Provides service in all retail areas, including cashiering and line serving. Cashiers according to established procedures, maintaining cash accuracy with receipts and makes deposits at the end of each shift. Inventories and restocks supplies and food products. Sets up serving line, ensuring temperatures are taken and recorded within acceptable ranges and notifies cooks when temperatures are not acceptable. Serves hot and cold items to customers. Sets up items for purchase on a daily basis. Keeps refrigerator stocked and product rotated using first‑in, first‑out rule. Stocks pantries with correct par levels on a daily basis. Records replenished amounts on floor stock form and records refrigerator temperatures daily. Performs other duties as assigned.
