Description

American Traveler is hiring a Night Shift RN for an Emergency Department position requiring ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications along with at least 1 year of specialty experience.

Details

• Hospital-based Emergency Department setting
• Night shift, 12-hour shifts
• 36 hours per week, 3 days per week
• May be required to float to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications based on business need
• May be required to take on-call during a regularly scheduled shift
• Uses Epic for charting

Requirements

• Active RN license in Colorado (Standard or Compact) currently in hand, no pending licenses accepted
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC (AHA certifications required and must not expire prior to start)
• Minimum 1 year of Emergency Department experience required
• ASN required, BSN preferred
• Epic EMR experience required
• Date of birth and last four digits of SSN required for consideration

Additional Information

• Perform independent nursing functions and delegated medical duties in accordance with state Board of Nursing standards
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient nursing care
• Provide health teaching, counseling, and therapeutic treatment supportive to patient well-being
• Document care in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines
• Refer patients for further evaluation or treatment as needed
• Review and monitor ongoing treatment plans
• Returning employees must be separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year to be eligible for this assignment
