Registered Nurse (RN) Weekend Supervisor

Job Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) Weekend Supervisor to join our team at Mission Pines Nursing & Rehab Center in North Las Vegas, Nevada. As a Weekend Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of care is provided to our residents while also mentoring and guiding our dedicated nursing staff. About the Role:

As a Registered Nurse (RN) Weekend Supervisor , you will be responsible for:

Providing direct patient care and supervising nurses and care assistants on weekends
Assessing patients' conditions and developing individualized care plans
Mentoring and guiding nursing staff to ensure high-quality care and smooth operations
Collaborating with other departments to ensure seamless transitions and exceptional care
Participating in quality improvement initiatives to drive continuous excellence
Fostering a positive and respectful work environment that promotes teamwork and communication

Responsibilities:

Supervise and direct nursing staff to ensure effective care delivery
Develop and implement patient care plans in collaboration with physicians and other healthcare professionals
Conduct patient assessments and document findings accurately
Identify and report any changes or concerns regarding patient condition or care
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and committee meetings
Provide guidance and feedback to nursing staff to promote growth and development

Requirements:

Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Nevada
Completion of an accredited nursing program
Minimum of 2+ years of experience as a Registered Nurse (RN)
Strong leadership and communication skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Commitment to delivering exceptional patient care and promoting a positive work environment
