Role Description The Commercial Loan Processor is a full-time, on-site role based in Honolulu, HI. This position is responsible for managing commercial and investor residential loan files from application through closing, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with lender and regulatory requirements. Day-to-day tasks include collecting and reviewing borrower documentation, preparing and organizing loan packages, coordinating with loan officers, underwriters, and third-party vendors, and monitoring loan conditions and timelines. The role also involves verifying financial data, tracking status updates, resolving documentation issues, and maintaining detailed records in loan processing systems. The Commercial Loan Processor will support SBA and other specialized loan products, communicate clearly with internal and external stakeholders, and contribute to an efficient, customer-focused lending process.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess skills in Loan Processing and Loans, with experience handling commercial real estate and investor residential loan files.
- Candidates should possess skills in Loan Documents and Loan Servicing, including organizing documentation, tracking conditions, and maintaining accurate records.
- Candidates should possess knowledge of SBA loan programs and related documentation and eligibility requirements.
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to manage multiple loan files and deadlines simultaneously.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, with a professional approach to client and partner interactions.
- Proficiency with loan origination or processing software and standard office productivity tools.
- Experience in commercial lending, mortgage processing, or a related financial services role is preferred.
- Associate or Bachelors degree in finance, business, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
