• Assist with specimen collection and prepare samples for testing, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Thoroughly document all processes, provide training for new team members or students, and help maintain high standards of laboratory quality.
• Ensure a tidy, secure work environment and comply with all regulatory and accreditation standards.

Qualifications

• Degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or equivalent allied health qualifications with ASCP/AMT certification preparation.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) must be obtained within the first year of employment.
• Ongoing certification maintenance is a requirement during employment.
