Maintenance Custodian Associate

Overview Maintenance Custodian Associate at Sam's Club Base pay range: $18.00/hr - $25.00/hr Responsibilities Maintain a safe and clean environment for Members and Associates by performing maintenance as necessary, following safety standards, procedures, and guidelines; conduct safety sweeps; follow proper forklift spotting procedures; handle and dispose of hazardous materials according to company procedures; correct or report unsafe situations to management. Clean all areas of the facility (floors, windows, restrooms, trash receptacles) using approved chemicals, supplies, tools, and equipment, and in accordance with company methods. Ensure a positive first and last impression for customers by maintaining a well-kept facility and responding to spills; operate floor scrubbers and manage waste disposal per program guidelines. Maintain appropriate levels of company-approved chemicals and supplies, rotate chemicals, store them properly, and place orders to replenish supplies when low. What you will do Support safety by following all safety standards and guidelines, including hazardous materials handling and disposal. Assist with environmental sustainability practices and ensure compliance with company procedures. Contribute to a positive member experience through dependable and efficient maintenance activities.
