We foster a supportive, mission-driven environment where clinicians are empowered to grow professionally while making a lasting impact on the lives of those they serve.What You'll DoCreate individualized, evidence-based treatment plans for each clientConduct individual, group, family, and couples therapy sessionsManage a caseload and oversee clients' clinical care throughout treatmentAssess client progress and modify treatment interventions as neededProvide crisis intervention, prevention, and de-escalation when necessaryMaintain timely, accurate, and compliant clinical documentationCollaborate with the Clinical Director, treatment team, and family members to ensure coordinated careDevelop aftercare and discharge recommendations to support long-term recoveryModel professionalism, integrity, accountability, dignity, and respect in every client interactionWhat We're Looking ForRequired QualificationsAssociate's or Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a related fieldActive state licensure or certification required to practice in this role - LCSW, LCPC, LGPC, CAC-AD, CSC-AD, ADTStrong clinical judgment and observational skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal abilitiesAbility to maintain professional boundaries and strict confidentialityPreferred QualificationsMaster's degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related fieldExperience working in behavioral health, mental health, addiction treatment, or residential treatment settingsExperience facilitating group therapyWhere You'll WorkAvenues Recovery Center located in Cambridge, MD is a 100-bed residential facility offering drug and alcohol detoxification and inpatient rehabilitation services.
