Assistant Parts Manager

Overview Owen Ford is seeking a motivated Assistant Parts Manager to join ourJarratt dealership's parts department. You'll work alongside our Parts Manager, supporting dealership operations, inventory management, and customer service while gaining valuable experience in automotive parts operations. Responsibilities Assist with daily parts department operations and inventory management Support retail, wholesale, and internal service parts sales Receive, stock, and organize parts inventory Source and locate special order parts Communicate parts availability and order status to customers and staff Provide excellent customer service and resolve issues promptly Support inventory audits and cycle counts Maintain knowledge of safety policies and procedures Qualifications Previous automotive parts or service department experience Knowledge of basic automotive parts and systems Familiarity with dealership inventory software systems Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods High school diploma or equivalent Professional appearance and strong work ethic Retail or wholesale parts sales experience Knowledge of manufacturer warranty and policies Benefits Medical, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) plan with company match Paid time off and paid holidays Employee discounts on vehicles, parts, and service Uniforms provided Ongoing training and professional development Supportive, professional dealership environment Owen Ford is an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to diversity and inclusion.
