Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct occupational therapy support to patients under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist
• Assist in the implementation of individualized treatment plans focused on patient rehabilitation and recovery
• Support patient well-being through therapeutic activities and interventions in a long term care setting
• Document patient progress and communicate updates to the supervising Occupational Therapist

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
• Active Texas state license or compact license recognized in Texas
• COTA certification in good standing

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience working in a long term care (LTC) environment
• Familiarity with rehabilitation protocols specific to geriatric or long term care populations
