Key Responsibilities

• Assess patients' physical, cognitive, and emotional needs to develop personalized treatment plans
• Implement therapeutic activities to help patients improve, recover, or maintain skills needed for daily living and working
• Recommend and educate patients on the use of assistive devices to support greater independence
• Adapt environments to better meet the functional needs of patients
• Provide education and guidance to patients and their families to promote well-being and independence

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of occupational therapy experience
• Active Texas state OT license or valid compact license
• Experience working across a range of patient ages and conditions

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a long-term care (LTC) setting
• Familiarity with adaptive equipment and environmental modification strategies
