Join Dr. Kirsten Plomin and a collaborative 5-DVM team at Old Town Animal Care Center as co-Medical Director to shape medical standards, mentor doctors, and keep practicing the medicine you love. The Opportunity: Partner with our Medical Director as part of the hospital’s medical leadership team, sharing responsibility for medical decisions, standards of care, mentorship, and team development. Serve as the primary full-time, in-hospital medical leader, giving doctors and team members consistent, day-to-day guidance and support. Develop and foster growth in team members, in partnership with NVA's medical and mentorship resources, like the NVA Mentorship program and PetOne Training Center. Continue practicing the medicine you love across preventive care, urgent care, dentistry, surgery, and complex medical workups. Bring your perspective to a hospital where leadership is collaborative, your voice carries weight, and the responsibility does not rest on one person alone. The Resources: 5 DVM team supported by lead technicians, a surgical lead, pharmacy support, CSRs, and a skilled technician/assistant team. An established leadership partner who is a practicing veterinarian and part owner of the hospital. Full-service care for cats and dogs. Dentistry, soft tissue surgery, orthopedic surgery, and urgent care availability. Diagnostics including ultrasound and echocardiogram options, EKG, radiography, and laboratory services. Laser therapy to support pain management, inflammation, healing, and post-surgical recovery. Compensation & Benefits: Starting salary of $150,000 - $180,000 plus quarterly production bonuses with no negative accrual. Eligibility-based leadership bonuses.
