Equipment Operator (Solid Waste)Peoria's Public Works Department has an excellent opportunity for an Equipment Operator in the residential collection division.The ideal candidate for this position will have:Heavy equipment in the completion of assigned tasks such as excavating, trenching, street cleaning, and delivering refuse and recycling materials to the landfill.Various types of solid waste equipment, including front load, side load, rear load, and roll-off collection vehicles.An articulated tractor.** List ALL Commercial Driving Experience On Resume And Application **Minimum Requirements:Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.Experience: At least 9-12 months of experience in a similar or related position.Physical Demands: This role requires heavy physical exertion and effort.Licenses and Certifications: A valid Arizona Class "B" Commercial Driver's License (CDL) is required at the time of hire.
