The Head Coach will join a high‑energy, collaborative team of fitness professionals dedicated to bringing a motivating, world‑class athletic experience to members. This position is primarily responsible for coaching group fitness classes and member retention by ensuring best‑in‑class service. It is a full‑time, in‑person role with flexible work hours. D1 is an athletic‑based group training facility for adults and youth athletes ages 7 and up. Its mission is to provide the best fitness philosophy and facility, empowering athletes to improve themselves by consistently reaching their goals. All coaches implement and instill the D1 training philosophy, adapt and customize programs, and maintain regular contact to monitor progress. Job Responsibilities Build and maintain relationships with each D1 member Coach group workouts, personal training, and team classes (minimum 25–30 hours per week) Teach proper form, modify and adapt movements to suit each individual Complete client assessments to align each member with the appropriate program Supervise Assistant Coaches – scheduling, coaching assessments and feedback, oversight of client assessments Qualifications Valid AED/CPR/First Aid certification At least one valid certification accredited by the NCCA Minimum of one year of strength & conditioning‑related experience in a group, team, or personal training setting Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science or a related field (preferred) Compensation $20.00 – $35.00 per hour #J-18808-Ljbffr D1 TRAINING
