Description

A DSQR's (Designated Supplier Quality Representative) mission is to act as the customer's agent on-site, ensuring supplier products meet strict quality, technical, and regulatory standards by performing detailed inspections, validating processes, and releasing conforming shipments, thereby guaranteeing that only high-quality, documented parts reach the customer, reducing risk and ensuring compliance.

ACCOUNTABILITIES/Competencies:

•Verify documentation compliance•Ensure customer purchase order requirements have been met and authorize the shipment of product(s)•Over Inspect characteristics either dimensionally or visually as required by customer•Visually inspect all components prior to shipment•Read and Interpret engineering drawings•Problem solving 8D/RCCA•Data entry as required by customers (portal or internal log/software)•The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds unassisted and occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 pounds unassisted.•Must be able to pass an eye exam•Performs, records, and ensures that the FAI/FAIR (First Article Inspection/First Article Inspection Report) has been approved by the customer as applicable•AS13001 Certification as well as customer required certifications/trainings •Internal audits as required•Other duties as assigned by supervision/management

Knowledge of geometric tolerances on metallic parts.

EDUCATION/

SKILLS/

EXPERIENCE:

Educational Desirable:

- Associates/Bachelor ’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a relevantdiscipline or applicable experience

Experience Desirable:

-(5+) years working in an Aerospace Production environment-Problem solving - RCCA/8D-Aerospace Auditing/ISO Auditing-Bonus: Circumferential Seal knowledge-Willing to train the right candidate-AS13001

Skills Required:
