Senior HR Generalist

Summary A growing, mission-driven general contractor supporting work across California is seeking a Senior HR Generalist to support their team. Key Responsibilities Lead full-cycle recruiting and onboarding for field and office positions Administer employee benefits programs and serve as primary point of contact for employee questions Manage employee relations matters with professionalism and discretion Administer leave programs including FMLA, CFRA, and ADA accommodations Manage HRIS platform and support transition from ADP to BambooHR Maintain and update company policies and employee handbook Support performance management processes and manager coaching Coordinate workers compensation claims and reporting Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws Maintain accurate HR recordkeeping and documentation Coordinate training programs and track completion Manage offboarding and termination processes Support basic compensation administration and benchmarking Requirements 5+ years of HR generalist or HR manager experience Strong working knowledge of FMLA, CFRA, ADA, and California employment law Experience with HRIS platforms; ADP experience required, BambooHR experience a plus Comfortable owning HR operations independently in a lean environment Construction or contractor industry experience strongly preferred Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills PHR or SHRM-CP certification a plus Degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field preferred Compensation & Benefits Competitive base salary commensurate with experience Medical, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) with company match Paid holidays and PTO Opportunity to grow with a mission-driven company making a real impact in California communities #J-18808-Ljbffr
