Assess patients spanning pediatric, adult, and geriatric demographics through both standardized assessments and clinical observations.

Craft individualized treatment plans targeting immediate and extended communication, cognitive, and swallowing objectives.

Deliver tailored speech therapy sessions concentrating on communication, language skills, fluency, voice modulation, and swallowing techniques.

Collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary team of physical therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, physicians, caregivers, and families to formulate comprehensive care strategies.

Educate patients and their families to bolster progress between therapy sessions, creating a supportive environment for development.

Assist with select inpatient evaluations and interventions, ensuring consistent care across every stage of treatment.

Keep thorough documentation that meets all state, federal, and organizational compliance requirements.

Engage in ongoing professional development and peer collaboration to remain at the forefront of the speech-language pathology field.

A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.

Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not yet ASHA-certified.

A current state license as a Speech Language Pathologist.

Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire.

Expertise in evidence-based treatments appropriate for various age groups, alongside a robust understanding of developmental and acquired speech and language disorders.

Exceptional communication skills for engaging with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.

Ability to tailor interventions to accommodate diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds.

Sound clinical judgment coupled with strong problem-solving skills.

Familiarity with electronic medical records and documentation procedures.
