Glassware Lab Services Coordinator
$20 - $28 per hourRussell Tobin
The Science Team at Russell Tobin and Associates is hiring a "Glassware Inventory Specialist" for a top leading biotechnology organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support laboratory glassware collection, cleaning, sterilization, inspection, and redistribution
- Operate autoclaves, glassware washers, dry heat sterilizers, and related equipment
- Maintain SOPs, equipment logs, and inventory records
- Train new team members and support process improvement initiatives
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and documentation standards
- Collaborate with laboratory support teams and provide cross-functional support as needed
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a scientific field; OR
- Associate’s degree plus 2+ years of relevant experience; OR
- High school diploma/GED plus 5+ years of laboratory, manufacturing, or related experience
- Strong attention to detail, communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills
- Basic Microsoft Office proficiency
Additional Information:
- Pay: $20–$28/hour (W2, based on experience)
- Contract: 12 months with potential extension
- Location: Tarrytown, NY
