We are looking for a detail-oriented Data Entry Clerk to support retail operations. This is a Contract position focused on maintaining accurate records, processing financial documentation, and keeping business data organized across office systems. The ideal candidate brings strong administrative skills, confidence working with accounting-related information, and the ability to manage a steady workload with precision.

Responsibilities:

• Input, revise, and maintain high volumes of information across company databases and accounting platforms with a strong focus on accuracy.

• Examine records for missing details, inconsistencies, and errors, then make corrections to keep documentation complete and reliable.

• Classify and enter invoices, statements, and other finance-related documents to support day-to-day recordkeeping.

• Assist with routine bookkeeping activities, including handling accounting entries and supporting financial documentation tasks.

• Investigate discrepancies in records and coordinate with relevant teams to resolve data-related issues promptly.

• Organize and preserve both digital and paper files so records remain accessible, current, and properly filed.

• Prepare reports and help manage document retrieval, tracking, and record maintenance for business needs.

• Provide clerical support through document formatting, correspondence preparation, scanning, and other administrative tasks.

• Work closely with internal departments to help ensure data and financial records remain aligned and up to date.

• At least 2 years of experience in data entry, administrative support, or a related office-based role.
• Practical exposure to accounting, bookkeeping, accounts payable, or financial records processing.
• Experience using Sage, QuickBooks, or similar accounting software.
• Strong typing skills with a high level of accuracy, including numeric data entry.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel, for data handling and reporting tasks.
• Ability to balance multiple assignments, stay organized, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail.
• Experience scanning documents and maintaining organized filing systems is preferred.
