Level II Help Desk Technician

Location: South Milwaukee, WI (Onsite)

Job Type: Contract with Potential for Hire

Pay Rate: $22-$26/hr

The ideal candidate will have experience supporting Microsoft technologies, resolving end-user technical issues, and managing help desk tickets from intake through resolution. This role is heavily focused on ticket remediation and end-user support, making it a great fit for someone who can work autonomously and communicate effectively with internal customers.

Responsibilities

• Provide Level II technical support for approximately 100 end users.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, network, and user access issues.
• Manage and prioritize tickets through Zendesk or a similar ticketing platform.
• Support Microsoft 365 applications and services.
• Assist users with Windows 10 and Windows 11 issues.
• Troubleshoot cloud-based applications and services.
• Document resolutions, track recurring issues, and identify opportunities for process improvement.
• Deliver excellent customer service while maintaining strong communication with users and leadership.

Required Qualifications

• 2+ years of Help Desk, Desktop Support, or Technical Support experience.
• Experience supporting Microsoft 365 environments.
• Knowledge of Windows 10 and Windows 11 administration and troubleshooting.
• Experience working with cloud-based technologies and services.
• Familiarity with ticketing systems such as Zendesk, ServiceNow, Jira, or similar platforms.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a manufacturing or office environment supporting on-site users.
• Exposure to Active Directory, user account administration, and endpoint support.
• Prior Level II Help Desk experience supporting a diverse user base.
