General Manager

The General Manager is responsible for the operational, financial, and customer-facing performance of a high-volume manufacturing facility. Reporting to the Vice President of Operations, this leader will oversee facility operations, manage key customer relationships, deliver executive-level presentations, and lead strategic projects. The ideal candidate combines manufacturing leadership, financial acumen, project-management experience, and strong executive presence. Key Responsibilities Lead facility operations, including production, quality, safety, maintenance, logistics, and workforce performance. Serve as the primary senior-level contact for key customers and executive stakeholders. Prepare and deliver C-suite presentations, business reviews, and operational and financial performance updates. Manage P&L performance, budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and financial reporting. Lead customer and operational projects, managing timelines, risks, priorities, and deliverables. Monitor KPIs and improve safety, quality, service, productivity, and profitability. Develop facility leadership and promote accountability and continuous improvement. Ensure compliance with applicable safety, quality, transportation, and industry regulations. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Operations Management, or a related field. Five or more years of senior leadership experience in manufacturing or high-volume production. Demonstrated success managing operations, financial performance, customer relationships, and teams. Experience presenting to C-suite executives and senior customer stakeholders. Strong project-management, analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills. Proven executive presence and ability to build credibility across all organizational levels.
