Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse for the Medical Surgical / Telemetry department to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and individualized patient care in the MedSurg/Tele unit.
• Administer medications, including titratable drips, as prescribed.
• Monitor and assess patient vital signs and respond to changes in patient status.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to plan and implement nursing care plans.
• Document all patient care activities accurately in the Cerner charting system.
• Maintain awareness of telemetry monitors and collaborate with centralized tele techs.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse license in good standing.
• BLS certification required (American Heart Association).
• Minimum of 1-2 years of acute care nursing experience required.
• Experience with insulin, heparin, cardizem, nitro, and amiodarone drips preferred.
• Excellent critical thinking and communication skills.
• Flexibility to work every other weekend and participate in holiday rotations.
