Shift: 6:45 AM - 7:15 PM

Job Description

The Mother Baby Unit is looking for a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team. Our unit consists of 34 private couplet rooms, providing an environment where mothers and their newborns can bond and receive optimal care. The successful candidate will be part of a team dedicated to delivering high-quality nursing care to families during the critical time of postpartum recovery.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to mothers and newborns in a couplet care setting.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions postpartum, including care for patients on Magnesium Sulfate.
• Perform typical procedures such as circumcisions.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure clinical excellence and patient satisfaction.
• Educate families on newborn care and postpartum recovery.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Mother Baby experience necessary; travel experience and STABLE certification preferred.
