Industrial Outside Sales Position - Mid-West Region \n
\n
\nWe are looking for an exceptional outside sales professional, with experience in Industrial Sales in the mid-west. Applicants should have experience of calling on industrial manufacturers, processors and distributors that operate in hazardous environments (HAZLOC) areas.\n
\n
\nCandidates should have a solid understanding of how manufacturing processes in combustible liquids and vapors, powder and bulk solid-handling industries work, as well as familiarity with the primary process equipment in these industries. \n
\n
\nMust also have 5+ years' regional industrial sales experience in the territory. This position covers the Mid-West Region including Wisconsin, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Ohio, and Michigan. Position requires 60% travel. Travel will also include participating in local and national trade shows, as well as international travel for training. Successful candidates should currently reside in either Illinois or Indiana. \n

• Drive Regional Growth: Expand sales through end users, OEMs, engineering firms, system integrators, and channel partners.

• Build Strategic Partnerships with customers, distributors, and industry influencers.
\n
• Provide Technical Expertise on electrostatic hazard protection solutions.
\n
• Develop Sales Channels through coaching and training distributors and representatives.
\n
• Identify New Opportunities through market intelligence and cross-functional collaboration.
\n
• Deliver Business Results by meeting revenue and profitability targets.
\n

What you should be good at \n
\n
\n

\n
• Five years' experience, business development experience in industrial product sales (preferably in industrial fire and life safety equipment, manufacturing process equipment or a similar industry).
\n
• Demonstrated experience in preparing and presenting technical and sales presentations to end users, distributors, and representatives.
\n
• Distribution/channel territory development and management experience a plus.
\n
• Understanding of manufacturing process equipment.
\n
• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering preferred; bachelor's degree in business or marketing will be considered with equivalent experience in industrial sales.
\n
• Able/willing to travel 60% of time by air and auto. Valid Driver License required.
\n

• Competitive Pay: Starting Base Pay for position $90,000 to $100,000 based upon experience.
