Store Manager in Training

Compensation Pay Range: $15.00 - $20.00. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation includes annual, quarterly performance bonuses or premiums that may be paid in amounts ranging per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met. Responsibilities Assist store manager in areas of sales, appearance, and overall operations of store. Support management and store operations, including supervisory responsibilities over store and HUB store team members. Supervise professional and retail operations of the store. Manage delivery and installer service specialists and parts and merchandising specialists. Participate in recruiting, hiring, evaluating, promoting, disciplining, and discharging team members. Communicate Team Weekly and monthly store managers’ meeting information to team members. Train new team members assigned to the store. Handle team member performance evaluations and recommend pay increases. Assist in hiring tasks, scheduling, interviewing, and candidate evaluation. Support store manager in ensuring safety compliance and provide appropriate training. Monitor and reinforce safety expectations. Make sales calls with or without store manager and may be assigned a schedule for customer calls. Maintain delivery fleet and vehicle records. Ensure store/HUB store is neat, clean, and organized at all times. Use electronic scheduling, clocking, and payroll systems. Manage key components of gross profit, monitor customer returns, review price matches and overrides, and review individual productivity KPIs. Analyze monthly P&L statements with store manager and discuss improvement opportunities. Qualifications Required: High School Diploma. Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills. Completion of Assistant Manager Certification, Sales Specialist Training, and Manager Development Program. Ability to read and match numerical/alpha characters quickly and accurately. Knowledge of automotive parts, equipment and systems. Desired: Experience with O’Reilly store and/or distribution center. Completion of O’Reilly management training program. Advanced computer skills.
