In this role, you’ll join a team of passionate and innovative engineers to understand and anticipate evolving Cybersecurity needs and challenges. You will partner with diverse internal and external groups across onsite and remote environments. You’ll leverage your experience along with targeted research into network technologies, cyber tools, and emerging techniques to develop forward thinking solutions that address both customer and industry demands.Responsibilities:The candidate will analyze designs, specifications, and related documentsDesign, integrate, and deploy end-to-end network solutions, including procurement, installation, configuration, testing, and troubleshooting of network and communications equipment.Research solutions to challenging cyber security and computer networking problemsCommunicate understanding of network architecture and designGenerate reports and presentations suitable for documenting and communicating results to peers and team membersEstablish, implement, and enforce system and data security controls, including firewall configurations and disaster recovery capabilitiesDefine and maintain standards, protocols, and best practices for network operations, maintenance, and lifecycle managementMonitor network performance and reliability, proactively resolving issuesDesigns solutions, integrates, configures, deploys, tests and provides support for numerous types of network devices, interfaces and methodologiesWorks with Systems Engineers and cross-organizational teams to define requirementsContributes to security planning, assessment, risk analysis, and risk management (application of STIGs)Qualifications:Required: An active TS/SCICCNAActive IAT Level II Certification (Security+ CE) or aboveBachelor’s degree in computer science or related engineering discipline from an accredited college or university5 years’ experience of network engineering (DOD related experience preferred) including network design and configurationAssist with the handling, configuration, and maintenance of cryptographic devices (e.g., KG series) and secure communications equipmentHands-on experience configuring Cisco switches and routersHands-on experience configuring Palo Alto firewallsHands-on experience creating firewall rule sets from analysis of network trafficHands-on experience with component validation of security devicesHands-on experience integrating boundary solutions into customer networksDesired:Experience with Forescout with C2C requirementsExperience with DoD IT security requirementsCisco ASA (Firepower)VPN Tunnels – AnyConnect, strongSwanCSFC - Commercial Solutions for ClassifiedExperience with Linux operating systems-What You Can Expect: A culture of integrity.At CACI, we place character and innovation at the center of everything we do.
