Openings are available at several schools, including Tradition Lakes K-8, Ft. Pierce Central High School, St. Lucie West K-8, Manatee K-8/Allapattah Flats K-8, and Palm Pointe K-8. Assignments range from early childhood to high school, with various programs such as VPK, ASD units, InD units, and collaborative SLP teams. Some roles may include coverage for maternity leaves.


Key Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Active SLP licensure in Florida
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
• Previous experience in school settings, K-12 caseload preferred
• Ability to manage diverse caseloads and collaborate in multidisciplinary environments
• Flexibility to work full-time (35 hours/week) or part-time, as determined by assignment
• Successful completion of fingerprinting (potential to transfer from the Department of Health if already completed)

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students in assigned schools (1-2 campuses per assignment)
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Provide direct therapy services tailored to a variety of student populations (VPK-12, ASD, EBD, InD, VE)
• Collaborate with faculty, support staff, and families to achieve communication goals
• Maintain thorough documentation and progress tracking in accordance with school district guidelines
