Senior Auditor - Hybrid

Kforce's client, a leading global organization in Saint Louis, MO, is seeking a Senior Auditor to join its growing audit team. This highly visible hybrid role offers the opportunity to lead risk-based audits, partner with business leaders across multiple functions, and contribute to strengthening operational and financial controls throughout the organization. The ideal candidate is a proactive professional with strong internal audit experience, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build relationships across a complex global environment. Approximately 30% travel, primarily domestic travel within the United States, with occasional international travel. Client offers compensation, benefits and work/life balance. Key Responsibilities:

• Lead internal audit engagements from planning through reporting
• Conduct interviews, review documentation, and evaluate internal controls
• Perform audit testing, analyze processes, and identify risks and improvement opportunities
• Prepare audit workpapers and draft clear, concise audit reports
• Lead audit opening and closing meetings with management and key stakeholders
• Monitor audit progress and communicate project status updates
• Present audit findings and recommendations to leadership
• Support risk assessments and annual audit planning activities
• Build strong relationships across business functions and global teams
• Mentor and provide guidance to junior team members
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field
• CPA, CIA, CISA, CA, or similar professional certification preferred or in progress
• 3+ years of experience in internal audit, external audit, accounting, business analysis, or program evaluation; Internal Audit experience strongly preferred
• Strong understanding of auditing standards, accounting principles, and internal controls
• Proven ability to lead projects and manage multiple priorities within established deadlines
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Experience with HighBond or similar audit management tools is a plus
• Spanish or Portuguese language skills are preferred
