Looking to work part-time for a great company in the Muskego area?

Position – Part-Time Accounting Assistant

Job Location – Muskego, WI

Starting Date – Immediate

Employment Term – Temp-to-Hire, Direct Hire

Employment Type – Part-Time

Work Hours (Shift) – 1st Shift (Mon-Thurs: 8:00am – 5:00pm, Fri: 8:00am-1:00pm)

Starting Pay – $20 per hour

Benefits – Medical, Vision, Dental, 401(K), Paid Vacation, Paid Holidays, Referral Bonus

Required Education – High School Diploma/GED; Associates/Bachelors in Accounting would be a plus.

Required Experience – At least 1-2 years of experience

Responsibilities

-Develop and maintain an understanding of Global Shop ERP system to utilize to recommend and implement process improvements or research items assigned

-Generate and post accounts payable from receipts.

-Match accounts payable receiving documents with vendor invoices.

-Research and resolve customer payment discrepancies within 30 days..

-Analyze accounts receivable variances and adjust if required

-Analyze accounts payable accrual on AP Aging Report and adjust if required.

-Assist with year-end audits.

-Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or management related to general filing, EDI set up for customers and journal entries in a ledger system

Qualifications

-High school diploma-required; Associates/Bachelors in Accounting would be a plus.

-1-2 years of experience preferred

-Experience with Global Shop-ERP System preferred

-Experience with Accounts Payable and Receivable required
