HealthTrust Workforce Solutions HCA is seeking a travel nurse RN Cardiac Cath Lab for a travel nursing job in Bowling Green, Kentucky.

Job Description & Requirements

• Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab
• Discipline: RN
• Duration: 13 weeks
• 40 hours per week
• Shift: 8 hours, days
• Employment Type: Travel

Number of Hospital Beds : 2 Cath Lab Suites

· Patient Ratios : Cath Lab is a 4 person team/1 patient

· Unit staffing description- (unit secretaries and tech availability) : Cath Lab Scrub Techs per case

· Type of equipment : Cath Lab Equipment GE, IVUS, VOLCANO

· Documentation system: Merge-Cath Lab Application and Meditech

· Scheduling requirements: Call Required – 1 weekend/mo. and 1-2 days per week

· Floating policy: Cath Lab, OP Stress Test

· 40/week

Hospital Specifics-

· Certifications: KY Rad tech licensure required

Must have :

 BLS, ACLS for Cath Lab RNs and Techs

Techs valid ARRT and RCIS certification for KY. All techs must have Cath Lab Specific Experience

Advanced skills needed:

All RNs and Techs must have minimum 2 year of similar Cath Lab Procedures AND 1 year Cath Lab Travel Experience

Procedures performed on unit: 

Diagnostic and Interventional Cath Lab: -Left Heart Cath, Right Heart Cath, TEEs, Cardioversion, Pacer Implants, Defibrillator Implants, TILT, Stress Tests

Certifications Required:

Techs must have RCIS and ARRT Certification

Dress Code : (Required uniform)

· Solid color scrubs
