CVOR Surgical Tech

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain the sterile field for cardiovascular surgical procedures
• Assist surgeons during complex CVOR cases, including open heart and vascular surgeries
• Anticipate the needs of the surgical team to ensure efficient workflow
• Handle, organize, and pass surgical instruments and supplies
• Operate and assist with advanced surgical equipment and technology
• Ensure proper sterilization and setup of instruments and equipment
• Maintain strict adherence to infection control and patient safety standards
• Participate in preoperative setup and postoperative cleanup
• Collaborate effectively with surgeons, nurses, and anesthesia staff
