Scientist II, Biopharmaceuticals

Scientist II supporting biopharmaceutical drug development in a GMP laboratory setting. The role involves analytical sample preparation, instrumentation operation, and quality documentation for pharmaceutical stability and testing studies.
Responsibilities
- Perform sample preparation and analytical procedures to quantitatively measure pharmaceutical compounds in formulations and biological matrices
- Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot analytical instrumentation; mentor others on troubleshooting when applicable
- Complete laboratory documentation accurately per SOP and GLP requirements
- Review results and determine acceptability against SOP acceptance criteria; manage QC responsibilities independently
- Participate in OOS/OOT/Atypical investigations and communicate project status to project leadership
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in chemistry, biochemistry, or related laboratory science
- Approximately 2+ years of related laboratory experience
- HPLC, CE, or iCE experience in regulated laboratory environment strongly preferred
- Knowledge of analytical instrumentation operation, maintenance, SOPs, and regulatory guidelines
- Strong manual dexterity and precision for accurate laboratory work
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities with time management skills
