Entry Level Chemist

Thermo Fisher Scientific seeks an entry-level chemist to perform pharmaceutical sample testing and analysis in a GMP laboratory setting. The role involves routine sample preparation, analytical procedures, and data review to support drug development timelines.
Responsibilities
- Conduct sample preparation and analysis of pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical compounds using analytical instrumentation
- Perform stability and analytical testing on various formulations and biological matrices
- Review, compile, and compare analytical results against acceptance criteria and product specifications
- Learn and follow standard operating procedures, regulatory guidelines, and analytical methods
- Troubleshoot technical issues and cross-train on sample preparation techniques across laboratory groups
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences or equivalent qualification
- 0–2 years of relevant work experience or equivalent education and training combination
- Knowledge of analytical instrumentation operation, maintenance, SOPs, and regulatory guidelines
- Strong manual dexterity and attention to detail
- Written and oral communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a laboratory team environment
- U.S. work authorization without sponsorship requirement
