Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid teaching license with Mod/Severe Special Education authorization (Mild/Mod may be considered for short-term assignments)
• Background in supporting students with moderate to severe disabilities preferred
• Experience working with elementary-aged children
• Flexibility and adaptability for short-term or extended assignments

Key Responsibilities:

• Instruct and support up to 12 students in a classroom with three paraprofessionals
• Implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Create engaging, differentiated lesson plans for 2nd and 3rd graders
• Foster a nurturing, supportive learning environment
• Collaborate with colleagues in a multi-classroom setting
