Architectural Sales Specialist – A&D

Our client is a well-established manufacturer of specialty products used in commercial and institutional environments and is seeking an Architectural Sales Specialist to develop relationships and new business within the architecture and design community .

\n

\n

This position will focus heavily on architectural firms and design professionals , introducing them to the company's product solutions and working with firms early in the project/design process. The ideal candidate will be comfortable presenting to groups, developing specifications, and managing opportunities that involve a longer, consultative sales cycle .

\n

\n

Key Responsibilities:

\n

\n

\n
• Develop and maintain relationships with architectural firms, landscape architects, designers, and other A&D professionals
\n
• Identify and develop new business through cold calling, prospecting, networking, and relationship building
\n
• Conduct lunch-and-learns, product presentations, and educational programs for architectural and design firms
\n
• Manage opportunities through a longer sales cycle , from initial contact through specification and project award
\n
• Develop relationships with key decision-makers and influencers within architectural firms
\n
• Attend local and regional AIA, ASLA, trade shows, and industry events
\n
• Partner with internal teams to support project development and customer requirements
\n
• Maintain accurate pipeline and account information within the CRM
\n
• Travel throughout the assigned territory as needed
\n

Requirements:

\n

\n

\n
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Architecture, Landscape Architecture, or related field
\n
• Min. 3+ years of B2B sales experience selling into the architecture, design, construction, building products, or related industries
\n
• Experience working with or selling to architecture and/or landscape architecture firms
\n
• Strong understanding of the architecture and design community
\n
• Experience selling a complex product or solution with a longer sales cycle
\n
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM systems
\n
• Ability to travel throughout the territory (Southern CA) and attend AIA, ASLA, trade shows, and industry events
\n

Compensation:

\n

\n

\n
• Base Salary: $95,000 – $100,000 + Bonus
\n
• Year 1 On-Target Earnings: $150,000
\n
• No cap on earning potential
\n
• Quarterly and year-end bonus incentives
\n
• Car allowance + gas
\n
• Travel expenses
\n
