Portfolio Analyst

An established private wealth organization is seeking a Portfolio Analyst to join its portfolio team. Working closely with portfolio managers, this role offers hands-on involvement across the operational side of client portfolio management. It is an opportunity to build a more complete understanding of how investment decisions are implemented across client accounts.

Responsibilities

• Support the daily administration of client investment accounts.
• Prepare and process investment activity based on portfolio manager instructions.
• Coordinate transactions with internal teams, custodians, and other financial institutions.
• Monitor activity through settlement and follow up on delayed or unresolved items.
• Review account cash positions and coordinate funding for investments, fees, and client transactions.
• Process wire activity and maintain the required supporting documentation.
• Research and resolve discrepancies involving transactions, account charges, and service fees.
• Assist with client billing and related account activity.
• Prepare recurring and ad hoc portfolio reports.
• Support new account setup, documentation, and onboarding.
• Maintain accurate records for internal reviews, audits, and client requests.
• Coordinate operational projects and recommend process improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field required.
• At least two years of recent experience in investment operations, portfolio administration, or a closely related function.
• Recent experience within wealth management, a family office, or a registered investment advisory firm required.
• Professional fluency in English and Spanish required.
• Experience with order management systems and custodial platforms.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and follow-through.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and time-sensitive account activity.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.
