Job Description
Taqueria La Victoria is looking for a reliable and customer-friendly Bilingual Cashier (English/Spanish required) to join our team in Ventura, CA. We are seeking someone who can provide excellent customer service, communicate effectively with customers and staff, and work efficiently in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
Responsibilities
Greet customers and take food orders accurately
Operate cash register and handle payments
Communicate with customers and staff in both English and Spanish
Maintain cleanliness of front counter and dining area
Answer customer questions about menu items
Assist with packaging takeout orders
Work efficiently during busy meal periods
Follow food safety and company procedures
Qualifications
Must be bilingual in English and Spanish
Friendly and positive attitude
Reliable and punctual
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Basic math and cash handling skills
Restaurant or cashier experience preferred, but not required
Must be able to stand for extended periods
Schedule
Part-time hours
Weekday, evening, and weekend availability preferred
