Job Title: Engineering Technician - Contractor - B Pay rate up to $33/hr. Location: Malabar, FL Zip code: 32950 Start Date: Immediate Contract: 12 Months Contract to Hire Tags: #EngineeringTechnicianContractorBjobs; #Malabarjobs; Description: Performs inspection of circuit card assemblies using Automated Optical Inspection (AOI) equipment to verify compliance with workmanship standards and manufacturing requirements. Operates, monitors, and supports AOI systems used to detect component placement issues, solder defects, polarity errors, missing parts, and other visible assembly nonconformances. Reviews inspection results, identifies straightforward defects, documents findings, and escalates discrepancies as needed. Works from work instructions, inspection criteria, drawings, and applicable quality standards. May assist with basic troubleshooting of AOI equipment, recipe verification, and production support activities to maintain workflow and product quality. Level: Level B Shift: Weekend (6:00AM-6:00PM Fri, Sat, Sun) Overall Summary:

Education & Experience:

• Requires developing job knowledge/skills on AOI and Circuit soldering.
• Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 4 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/associate's degree with 0 to 2 years of prior related.
