Job Title: Engineering Technician - Contractor - C Pay rate up to $24.81/hr. Location: Malabar, FL Zip code: 32950 Start Date: Immediate Contract: 12 Months Contract to Hire Tags: #EngineeringTechnicianContractorCjobs; #Malabarjobs; Job Description: Test Engineering Technician candidate to join our customers team where the candidate will support production, Environmental Stress Screening (ESS) and Depot testing, troubleshooting and fault isolation. Essential Functions:

• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings or schematics to perform work duties.
• Work with little to no supervision using a prescribed set of processes and procedures.
• Work directly with engineers optimizing test processes and procedures.
• Lean, continuous improvement mindset.
• Using a variety of diagnostic tools, DMM, Oscilloscope, Logic Analyzers, etc., troubleshoot and fault isolate to component level.
• Possess a positive attitude and the ability to work in a team environment.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Familiarity with National Instruments Test Stand and Linux operating systems.

Qualifications:

• Requires fully proficient job knowledge/skills. Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 6 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/associate's degree with a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience.
• Ability to read and understand electrical drawings and schematics

Preferred Additional Skills: (These are additional skills and experience that would be preferred in ideal candidates but not a deal breaker)

• Good computer skills. (Microsoft Windows and Office)
• Professional attitude and excellent verbal/written communication skills.
• Ability to work occasional weekend, off-shift, and overtime work.
