Complex Litigation & Class Actions Associate Attorney

Direct Counsel is seeking a Litigation Associate Attorney with 2+ years of complex litigation experience to join a highly regarded Advocacy Department. This is an excellent opportunity for a litigator who wants to take on meaningful responsibility in a sophisticated federal and state court practice while working closely with experienced litigators who are invested in their development.

The ideal candidate will bring strong advocacy skills and practical experience with depositions, discovery, motion practice, and courtroom matters . Commercial litigation experience is preferred, as is experience in employment and/or health care law.

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of complex litigation experience

• Strong written and oral advocacy skills

• Courtroom experience preferred

• Commercial litigation experience preferred

• Employment and/or health care litigation experience is a plus

• Strong analytical and organizational skills

• Excellent judgment, attention to detail, and responsiveness

• South Carolina Bar admission required
