Travel RN - Telemetry - Progressive Care Unit

American Traveler is hiring a Travel RN for a Progressive Care Unit position requiring 1 year of recent PCU experience and BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications.

Job Details

• 13-week travel assignment in a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) at a hospital with a large cardiac patient population,
• Unit includes two Tele floors and a PCU, with floating to all inpatient Med/Tele and Rehab units,
• Patient ratios of 1:5 for both day and night shifts, varying by unit,
• Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM,
• Uses Meditech EMR system,

Job Requirements

• Active CO or Compact RN license required,
• Minimum 1 year of current acute care PCU experience required,
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS),
• Meditech EMR experience preferred,
• Chemo/ONC certification preferred, allowing potential scheduling on the Oncology unit,
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months,
• US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration,
• One professional reference required,

• Provide care to patients with varied acute and chronic medical issues across cardiac, telemetry, and progressive care units,
