Job Summary
Labor and Delivery (L&D) Registered Nurse (RN) position is available in a healthcare facility location. This role involves providing comprehensive obstetrical care during the antepartum, intrapartum, immediate postpartum, and neonatal phases to labor and delivery patients, following established protocols and standards. The RN will utilize critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership skills to ensure safe and effective patient care.

Job Details

• Position Description: The RN will be responsible for delivering obstetrical care during all phases of labor and delivery, including antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, and neonatal care, in accordance with state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies.
• Certifications/Education/Experience: NM RN Licensure; Current BLS, ACLS, and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Certifications; 2 years of related experience.
• Schedule: Night shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Start Date: 11/01/2026.
• End Date: 01/30/2027.
• Required Qualifications: Valid NM RN Licensure, current BLS, ACLS, and NRP Certifications, 2 years of obstetrical nursing experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: None specified.
• Additional Information: The associate must demonstrate critical thinking, scientific judgment, leadership, and maintain clinical competence through continuing education. Responsibilities include delegating patient care, providing supervision, and ensuring patient safety during childbirth and neonatal phases.
