Postdoctoral Scholar - Open Positions in Microbiology and Molecular Genetics

Position Overview Salary range: $69,073 - $82,836. Postdoctoral Scholar positions are occasionally available throughout the year in the Department of Microbiology and Molecular Genetics. The Postdoctoral Scholar conducts research under the general oversight of a faculty mentor in preparation for a career position in academia, industry, government, or the nonprofit sector. Appointments are temporary positions with fixed end dates intended to provide a full‑time program of advanced academic preparation and research training. Qualifications A doctoral degree (e.g., Ph.D., M.D.) or the foreign equivalent is required. The applicant may either have their Ph.D. at the time of the application or be working toward it.
