Job Summary

The Associate Director of Operations provides key leadership across the program, ensuring high-quality, mission-aligned services in a safe and supportive environment for youth, staff, and visitors. This role spans operational oversight, staffing, compliance, budgeting, and facility management — all grounded in a culture of respect, inclusion, and excellence.

Core Responsibilities

Operations & Facility Management

• Coordinate with maintenance staff to track work orders and manage preventive/utility maintenance
• Maintain annual equipment records and ensure appropriate ordering of facility and unit supplies
• Oversee the physical environment and operational infrastructure of the program

Staff Leadership & Development

• Interview, hire, train, and provide performance feedback to staff
• Ensure teams have clear role expectations and the tools needed for success
• Provide oversight to multidisciplinary service teams with a respectful, inclusive approach

Compliance & Reporting

• Maintain proficiency in agency systems (EHR and HRIS) to support accurate documentation
• Ensure adherence to agency policies, regulatory requirements, and best practices
• Collaborate with site leadership on fiscally responsible purchasing and budgetary goals

Education: Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Operations Management, or social services related field required.

Licensure/Certification: Valid driver's license and auto insurance.

Experience/Skills: Two to five years of experience in an operations or facility maintenance field, preferably in management or leadership and in a healthcare environment. Preferred experience supervising members of a multidisciplinary team. Requires Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook email.
